BRIEF REPORT

A fabulous, problem-fee Classic Challenge took place in the sun around Bunbury. No accidents and only one breakdown - it's always great when (almost) everyone finishes. Plenty of smiles all day long as the fast, challenging stages progressed.

A few memories of interest - Caitlin, co-driving with Joshua Robinson in the Evo Coupe was noted by several Starters to be literally white-knuckled and shaking at the start lines. We hope it was the excitement and anticipation, not simply fear... And ever such a polite driver Andrew Reid (Nissan 200SX) was noticed using his indicators for all the corners at The Cut stage. Bill Stagoll's noticeably blistering pace in his Exige on the first run at The Cut, followed by a slower second run. One official commented "Maybe his wife was scared", to which another official commented that was 100% correct reason for the more cautions second run.

Thanks for the positive feedback on the day and in emails since; "Thanks for a great day. I had a blast, II do LOVE that East Picton stage." and from another competitor: "Thanks again for another fantastic event. Each year gets better and more challenging. I can't wait for the next one. A big thanks to you, all the volunteers and people who donated their time and efforts and of course the sponsors and everyone involved."

Some brilliant driving was witnessed throughout the day. Well done to all. A big congratulations to the winners and class winners.

Trophies will be available from Wheels World, 4 Carbon Court, Osborne Park.

Thanks to the Senior officials: Ian Mann, Brock Mann, Martin McCoy, Natalie Holburn, Terry Mann, Time Fowler and Andy Hamilton. Also to the crew of volunteer officials. A big Thank You to Will White for his help as the 'local' man for all his valuable assistance. And to our principal sponsor RSM Bird Cameron.

Thanks to Steph Robinson for the Rally Girls photo.
