 1950 Morris Minor Tourer project

An Australian delivered Morris Minor MM Series Low Light Tourer (Convertible) with original side valve engine. Examination has suggested that this is NOT a saloon that has been chopped and is an original tourer - the only other one I am aware of is in the York motor museum and has the incorrect engine. Although registered as a 1949, the chassis number indicate it should be a 1950 car.  It has the original 918cc side valve engine. Engine was running well in recent years but is in need of 4 broken bolts to be removed from where the side water jacket was. The water jacket had broken due to build up of calcium presumably due to not having had antifreeze in water system periodically (new water jacket and head gasket supplied). The paint work is poor in places with a respray required. See picture of one rear wing which shows some paint missing although the steel is solid. The car is however very solid and would make a great restoration project which would not be too taxing once those 4 studs are removed! Newish tyres and good condition soft top and front seats. Asking $3500, negotiable. Contact Andrew Peatling 0419 962247 andrew.peatling@accenture.com

Lightly backdated with classic ducktail and Carrera script from the 1974 2.7 Carrera.   The 1985 3.2 has the same 915 gearbox as the 1973 Carrera RS, plus the 915 is 50kg lighter than the later G50 gearbox option. On weight, the Coupe body is also a min 50kg lighter than the Targa version, (plus much stiffer), and the narrow body is 50kg lighter than a wide body 911, making this car the true enthusiasts choice.  1910 Napier 15Hp Double Phaeton      SOLD

One of the great cars of the Veteran era, Napier was known for its fast racing designs and for well-engineered touring cars.  Like many manufacturers, it produced special “colonial” models for export.  These featured larger wheels and other modifications to cope with the extreme conditions found all over the world.  This included flipping the motor so that the flywheel was at the front of the engine and it had improved ground clearance.  As a result, this Napier is started by hand-cranking the engine anti-clockwise rather than the more usual clockwise arrangement. Bodied by Trevethan in Toowoomba, Queensland this Napier is a significant part of Australian motoring history, and suitable for any veteran car rally.  SOLD

The engine is a 472 ci front wheel drive unit and it runs like new as you would expect from a low mileage survivor. The three speed auto is like new with no leaks or slippage. Overall this vehicle needs very little to put it into concourse condition with all the original trim, interior, badges and excellent body. FOR SALE: 1974 Porsche 911S

I have a 1974 Porsche 911S which I have decided to sell after 32 years of loving ownership from new. It is unique because it is one owner, never pranged and has it's original paint except for the back guards. These were repainted in 1982 after they were fitted with Porsche Factory steel wheel flares so that I could fit wider rims at the rear to take advantage of new tyre technology. The car now has 7" and 8"x15" genuine Fuchs rims from a Porsche Turbo. It has Factory fitted Carrera suspension bars, Bilstein shocks, stainless steel Carrera extractors and 5 speed gearbox and a sun roof. In most respects the car is basically a 1974 Carrera but with K Jetronic rather than mechanical fuel injection. The car is very quick and very agile compared to later Porsches. I wish to sell the car 'as is' to an enthusiast. Whilst I have never painted the car as I didn't think it needed it, I would prefer to sell it in it's original form to someone who would prefer to see it this way and who may then want to paint it fully and have his own restored 'Concours' Porsche. Full mechanical history is available and no expense has been spared as I never intended selling the car. It has a fully reconditioned engine and gear box, a new clutch and dashboard and many new spares. SOLD
