 1969 BMW 2002 rally car

Built up from an already well restored road car with excellent history.  Heidi was the very last chassis produced in the sixties, rolling off the production line in Bavaria on 31st December 1969.  The car featured in the May 1971 edition of Motor Magazine as it was modified to be a Porsche 911 beater with race cam, twin 45 Webbers and sports suspension.  We purchased it from a family who had the car for 17 years and already spent over $30,000 in restoring it.  Our work has been to strip out the interior, strengthen the body shell with a welded in roll cage, strut brace, etc. Seats and full harness belts are FIA approved. Tripmeter with duplicate senders, one from each front wheel hub. Intercom. Navigators light. Driver foot rest. Fire extinguishers. Foam filled, aluminium safety fuel tank mounted high in the boot together with a fully equipped tool bag. The car has been completely rewired using Lucar crimped connectors and two additional fuse boxes. Suspension is Bilstein sports suspension with spacers to provide greater ground clearance for dirt events. The car can be quickly modified for tarmac by just removing the spacers. Suspension arms have been strengthened and a full width sump guard fitted. A freshly rebuilt and re-torqued LSD with a 3.9 diff ratio giving a top speed at maximum revs of 6500 of 180km/h. Brakes are standard BMW discs at the front with Ti struts. Gearbox is standard 2002 4-speed with excellent synchros. The motor has been built for torque and reliability. Block tanked and new core plugs fitted.  Crank and rods balanced with flywheel and clutch cover. Max size clutch plate.   Big valve cylinder head with all chambers cc’d and Dr Schrick 292 degree cam, twin 45DCOE Webers, 2.25 inch exhaust system, double valve springs, Ireland Engineering competition rockers, oil cooler, competition radiator and much more. In summary, a very torquey motor with power from 2500 to 7000 rpm, but red-lined at 6500. It has been super reliable due to good treatment and off-season strip down and check.  1934 Chevrolet Roadster Rat Rod

1934 Chev Rat/Hot Rod that is powered with a 245 Hemi Valiant motor that is smooth and quiet. Holley 350 carb, Pacer manifolds and electronic ignition, body is glass fibre with steel cowl  L300 front end 3 speed BW35 gearbox and Centura diff. Overall this little rocket is a great performer that goes and stops very well. Paint work has chips and blemishes and is sprayed in matt black in the Rat Rod style and would take only a little work to freshen it up. Very original low mileage car to suit collector or enthusiast. Genuine 38000 miles. Easy restoration. Minimal rust in lower passenger guard and passenger front door.  1937 Austin 10 Cambridge Saloon

The car is currently registered on Queensland plates rego No 37 TEN, it is being used every day, it is carried on a trailer behind a Winnebago and my wife and I are travelling around Australia (and have been for the last five years) and the car is used as our run about car at places we stay at. The reason for selling is my wife is not happy with it as it has no air conditioning and she finds it hard to drive as the synchros are a bit worn, which makes it hard to change down gears.  1973 Jaguar E-Type Series lll V12

Stunning Jaguar colour and drives really well. The car has done approximately 1000 miles in the last 5 years and during that time it has had the following improvements / repairs; New stainless steel exhausts. The motor was taken out due to a transmission oil seal leak and at the same time the transmission was overhauled. The power steering rack was replaced and new hoses fitted. New shock absorbers. New aluminium radiator and upgraded radiator cooling fans. New Michelin tyres and a new windscreen has been fitted as well as new seatbelts. We purchased the car while living in the US and it never overheated in 40+ degree temperatures. It was purchased in Arizona and had very little rust which has now been fixed. 350ci 4 speed in very good condition. Very striking Corvette with many many extras including Hooker Sidepipes. The motor was rebuilt less than 1500 miles ago by John Lindsay of Performance engineering in Phoenix Arizona USA - receipts available. Room for development with the brakes and a move to fuel injection or 48DCOE’s and 200bhp, the 131 is already a reliable and proven winner with a very tractable, but conservative tune 170bhp. Sometimes described as an Italian Ford Escort RS1800, the FIAT 131 Abarth was purpose designed with help from Abarth and Bertone to contest the European Rally Championship through the late 70’s and early 80’s, successfully taking the title on 3 occasions. Value? What would you pay for a replica Mk2 Escort RS1800 with forest guards, 5 speed gearbox, 16V engine with 200bhp tuning potential and recent local history / success?  1981 Fiat X1-9 1500 5-Speed

Australian delivered, 2 owners from new, log books, 71,000 km, only 1 Victorian mature owner till 2010 when the car was purchased by me and transported to Perth. Excellent condition and one of the best available.  Interior is immaculate and original, not even a radio has been installed. Only upgrade is a period Momo steering wheel with a FIAT centre.  The exterior was re-painted approx 6 years ago in the factory correct Rosso Arancia....... Red Orange. In my opinion one of the best X19 colours and FYI this was a Ferrari 246 Dino colour too.  1937 Cadillac La Salle 37/50

Rare right hand drive - sold new by Lendrum & Hartman, London. Black with grey cloth trim and with twin side-mounts. 320cu-in flat-head V8 with 3-speed floor change gearbox. White sidewall tyres and sliding sunroof. Sold new to Dr A Jefferson Bernhardt in London, he kept the car in almost daily use until the 1960s after which it changed hands several times until we bought the car in August 2001. It has never been restored and has never been welded underneath. Refurbishments include engine rebuild including many ancillaries, rebuilt steering box, suspension , brakes, wheel bearings, new tyres, etc. A stainless steel exhaust system is fitted. The car is still 6-volt positive earth electrics with a unique 12-volt starter system which works perfectly. Various minor re-plating of chrome and trim and many other adjustments have been attended to over the years.  1976 Toyota Crown Wagon

Original one owner vehicle. Manufactured in April 1976 and bought new in June 1976 and is still owned by the same person. This car has been continually on full Western Australian licence and used regularly as a family car. It has travelled a genuine 238,000km and has always been garaged and regularly serviced. 6-cylinder 2653cc, manual transmission. Air conditioned.  1985 Jaguar XJSC-HE 

The well-known car is from the Holmes a'Court/Heytesbury car collection. Covered just 107,000km. No rust or any major defect, in excellent condition. The radio/cassette doesn't function. The alternator was replaced a few months ago. There are some signs of wear to the drivers door lining (some discolouration to the leather around the handle), but no other marks to the interior.  Some very minor stone chips to the exterior. This car is an MC Automatic in old English white with black leather and red piping. It is very good under the bonnet and is LH drive. The chassis looks fantastic; the fit from the fuel tank spare wheel well gap is remarkable. The enamel is good on the exhausts. It will need paint but it has not been crashed. It has nice door cards and trim but the carpet looks very average. The car is one owner and originally owned by a lady who had a Jaguar dealership in America. It has only done 19,000 miles.  1995 MG RV8 Roadster 

The car is in immaculate condition, it has only travelled 36,000 km and drives like a new car. Having twice the horsepower of a normal MGB it's a very exciting car to drive.  1950 MG TD Roadster 

I acquired the car on the 14/1/2003. The car was manufactured in the UK destined for the American market. It was bought in California by Mr. Jarl Deoer  of 23 Valley Vista Drive, Walnut Creek, CA.  Imported from California this TD was completely rebuilt from the chassis up in 1993 by MG restorer Neville Howell. In 1994 it was bought by a member of the MG Car Club, who then had MG Workshops fit a Bosch distributor, larger radiator and overhaul the brakes. I have maintained the vehicle since the above date.  1938 Riley Big Four Roadster Special  

2 Doors, 2 Seats. 4 speed Manual Petrol Carburettor 4cyl 2.5 2500cc. Chassis taken from 1933 Humber altered to fit 2.5 Riley motor and gearbox, hydraulic brakes were fitted to fit 14inch drums. Using the original grille an aluminium body was built over a steel frame with louvres in the bonnet and front apron. The motor was fully reconditioned; the gearbox had all bearing and seals necessary replaced. The diff was stripped down and the pinion thrust bearing replaced. Instruments were recalibrated and fitted into a walnut veneer dash. Seats were upholstered in leather and carpet throughout. Wheels were rebuilt and fitted with new Lister 18 x 600 tyres.  1959 JWF MG Milano

Built by Bruce Leers, this cart sprung MG special built in 1959 took the under 1500cc sports car record in May 1961 and held it for 3 years. The car is simplicity itself with a strengthened MGJ2 chassis, MG TF1500 engine with billet steel crankshaft, Argo conrods and forged pistons , MG TC close ratio straight cut gearbox,10 inch drum brakes from Wolseley Wasp with fabricated finned drums and steering box from a Morris 8/40. The diff centre from Morris 1000 is fitted into the MGJ2 housing. The power output at the wheels is 88bhp from 4200RPM to 6500rpm. With a body weight of 500Kgs, performance is excellent. The fiberglass body is by JWF built by Sam Johnson with a new body made in 1998 with shape similar to the 1955 Ferrari Monza. The Milano was purchased by Moss Angliss in the early 1960’s and again achieved success in racing even though competing against imported Coopers and Lotus’s of the period. The car was purchased in 1980 by John Scott . It was in many pieces and was restored over several years and has raced successfully in group Lb sports. It achieved best restoration in 1983 and has won the Frank Gardner Trophy 3 times and many other races against similar cars. Australian built with all matching numbers. Original Billaroy Blue now in Two Pac. Tan interior with black hood. Hood has a zip out rear window like later Bs. The body is straight and rust free. Standard Coventry or Canley 1924-26 roadster for sale. The vehicle is a one door two-seater roadster manufacturing batch # 7 Car 86, V3 Chassis, 1300 cc, 11.4 side valve, exposed rockers with new rings, head gasket and some new valves. New meranti timber framing, no rust in guards, engine panels and chassis. It requires panelling on rear half of the car. It has original seat springs requiring upholstery. The engine starts and runs well.
