NOTE TO SELLERS: Beware of scammers who typically cannot inspect your car (often they're 'in the military', 'away working in South-East Asia', working at sea, or 'buying for a relative'), who ask for chassis numbers, condition or other details which may already have been stated in your advertisement, who want your PayPal or bank details and barely negotiate on price... (or even offer your full asking price or more 'to cover shipping'). If it feels like a scam, it probably is a scam...

 1936 Chevrolet 'Sloper' Coupe

This beautiful girl, which brings a smile to most faces is original and has only had '4' owners. By way of history, the Chevrolet Sloper was allegedly the first slope back coupe in the world, using a GM chassis, motor and gear box, with Holden Ltd building the body and accessing locally manufactured parts, hence its Vehicle Number: 'Holden Plate 994'. The current owner has rebuilt the motor (same as the grey FX/FJ/FE/FC series), gearbox, differential, electrical, fuel, cooling and exhaust systems.  She's also had her front wheel bearings replaced (inners and outer) and has nice, as new white wall tyres, so all of that should give you peace of mind. She also comes with the original Owners-Manual and many spares, which are actually very easy to come by via E-Bay and locally. Location of car: Rowville or Beaconsfiled VIC (it moves between the two). Asking $25,750. Contact Details: John Haines john@aplgroup.com.au / traveller@aplgroup.com.au Mob: 0408 74-0077

 1984 Porsche 944

2.5-litre, 5 speed manual, rear wheel drive, WA registered, A/C, electric windows, electric mirrors, engine immobilizer, sunroof, 6 disc CD changer, and comfortable Recaro front seats. Australian delivered. Due to my partner purchasing another car, it is time to let go of my 944 which is just not being used much these days. Always garaged, looks good like a classic coupe does, drives great, and sounds like it should. Engineered with a rear mounted gearbox for perfect 50/50 weight distribution it is a joy to drive. Having no power steering allows for a more responsive feeling and due to the car's small dimensions and light weight it is still easy to manoeuvre at low speeds. Over the last two years of my ownership the following has been replaced, mostly by Ktec Autohaus the Porsche specialists, otherwise independent specialists, receipts available:  Waterpump, timing belt, clutch, rear main oil seal, thermostat, radiator, fan motors, front shocks, battery, front tyres, sports muffler, A/C (regassed). The car has been regularly serviced, with the most recent service being done on 20/01/2014 and the mechanic describing the car as “mechanically immaculate”. The paint has some minor flaws but as you can see it looks great. Car is located in Perth. $12,700 ono. Contact Antony 0451 040 552.

 1985 BMW E24 M635CSi project

For sale is a complete 1985 E24 M635CSi, often referred to as an M6. In RHD it was only available in the UK. It was the first M car from a production model, after the limited edition M1, and thereafter the M cars we all know started to be produced, because of the popularity of the M635CSi. The only original RHD examples of this model in Australia are aftermarket personal imports. This is not an LHD conversion. This is a great opportunity to acquire a piece of BMW history, the car made famous in Australia by the M635CSi John Player Special vehicle driven by Jim Richards at Bathurst in the mid 1980's. This particular Production Version No. 5532 (European-spec without catalyst, RHD, manufactured between 09/1984 through 02/1989) is only one of 524 made. The engine is a genuine Motorsport 3.5 litre In-line 6 cylinder twin-cam engine from the M1 and the racing 3.2CSL's. 5 speed manual gearbox, aftermarket floating disc brakes and callipers by Ron Harrop. Further specs on the vehicle available upon request. More info on the E24 M635CSi can be read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_M6, and here: http://www.bmwmregistry.com/model_faq.php?id=5 The car is complete, however currently the vehicle is a rolling chassis, simply partially disassembled, ready to replace a rusted portion of the front firewall. There also is a spare front half shell with the package, which was purchased to replace the firewall. The car was complete, registered in Victoria and regularly driven, but then disassembled a number of years ago to undertake the firewall restoration. Personal circumstances have changed and now regrettably it needs to be moved on. The car was magnificent to drive, hence why it was kept for restoration until now. Looking for offers of around $6,500.00 ONO (price reduced). For more information or to arrange an inspection call Tim on 0412 485 801. Car is located in Clayton, VIC. Genuine enquires only, no time wasters please.

Unique 1947 Jaguar MkIV special-bodied Saloon

We have owned this unique one off car for about 14 years now and she has always been garaged. She is completely intact and mechanically sound. The only rust is in the bottom of the doors due to rain ingress through the window seals with the previous owner. The motor was upgraded prior to our purchase to an XK 2.4L engine. You may have seen her at the annual British Car Day Gingin, she gets a lot of attention and admiration. Significant modifications made in the 1960's in Auckland by a coachbuilder. His son's words as follows: "The Jag was purchased in early 1968 in Auckland. My dad wanted a project, as always felt the car was not in proportion. Originally the doors were hung from the centre pillar, he changed these to hang from the A pillar. The roof was lowered 2 inches and the rear of the roof was brought forward 6 inches. The sunroof was filled in. The boot was re hung from the top and the boot line was lowered 2 inches (I think). The spare wheel cavity was filled in and the wheels mounted on the mudguards. Petrol tank was moved to behind the rear seat and twin fillers were fitted into it. The car was dismantled to the bare chassis, everything was fully reconditioned. The engine was originally a 2.5 litre push rod motor. I did all the mechanical work on the vehicle and it was completely rewired, at this time I was only nineteen. There were four panel beaters working on it at one stage. There was heaps of lead used as filling. The whole project took 1 year to fully restore. Dad sold it around 1970. The Jag you have is obviously a one off and wasn’t intended to look like any other car. We think the car was shipped to Australia in the late 70’s." Photos showing it under construction available.  1958 Mercedes-Benz 190 Ponton sedan

My Stuttgart built 190 is about a 90% unrestored gem. Apart from the renewed headlining, the motor drive-train suspension (apart from shockies) body and trim all seem original. I have however recently replaced the battery, tyres (not the cross-ply spare) muffler, water-pump, plugs points coil condensor hoses, fan belt & had the brake master cylinder re-sleeved. The way it starts & runs after last month's engine re-tune, makes it hard to believe it's 55 years old; especially on a highway run @ 70MPH with its new 185x80x13 white ribbon radials (not shown in photo). Suitable for running on unleaded fuel. Other 190s are, and have been, for sale at around $8,000 or less, but I'm not sure of their condition - however I saw at least one for sale last year at more than $20,000 in NSW, but I understand it was restored hence my asking price for this original is $22,500. The 190 is on a full WA licence due for renewal in early August. Car in Perth. Contact Paul mobile 0411 035 769 or home 08 9397 9797

1964 Mercedes-Benz 230SL 'Pagoda'     PRICE REDUCED

This is a stunning driver's car for the buyer who enjoys everything these cars have to offer. The Benz was first registered in California in 1964 where it lived all its life in Marina Del Rey, until imported by myself to Melbourne. This car has never been restored; instead it has enjoyed a pampered life being looked after by fastidious owners (including myself), who have always carried out maintenance with no expense spared. These cars offer impressive versatility - it can either be enjoyed as a roadster, complete with soft-top for occasional showers, or with the stunning dished hard-top in place it becomes a snug coupe perfect for the colder months. It runs beautifully, and is an absolute pleasure to drive - it gives an experience that will make you wonder how new car manufacturers have got it so wrong; there is nothing dull and boring about driving a Pagoda, you experience the freedom and nostalgia you can only get from classic open-top motoring. A lot of time and effort has been spent by myself and my capable Mercedes specialist mechanic tuning the injected straight-6 for optimal performance and drive-ability. The sound out of the exhaust under acceleration is magnificent. The 4-speed Automatic takes off very smoothly from 2nd gear, and shifts seamlessly and firm as they were designed to do from new. Overall this is an outstanding example of the Pagoda Mercedes-Benz in the most desirable of colour combinations. As an investment that can be enjoyed on a daily basis - it makes excellent sense. I may be somewhat negotiable on price, however it is priced to sell and is worth every penny. I can be contacted anytime by phone or email to discuss a time to view and drive the car, or answer any questions that you may have. I am open to interstate buyers, and can help with freight. Don't miss out on this piece of automotive history. It will be yours to enjoy just in time for the sunny summer months. Asking $46,000. Car in Melbourne. 1998 Ferrari F355GTS F1     PRICE REDUCED

The car has covered 62,000kms and comes with a full service history and documentation of any works done on the car from new. It is in immaculate condition inside and out. Recent works on the car have been stone chip refurb and attention to the interior by way of leather recondition. I have done some other things but its really too much to list so I am happy to discuss the car at length with any potential buyers out there. This is a very rare model being that there was only 529 355 GTS F1 models ever produced and only a few examples were sold in Australia. I know of only 3 other cars in Oz today. These other vehicles are commanding prices of $150,000 so therefore at an asking price of $115,000 my car is good value for money. The car is located in Perth WA and I can be contacted on 0405797991 after 4 pm weekdays or e-mail stephen.harkness@iinet.net.au

 1939 Mercury V8 Indy Road/race Special

This is a sensational road or track car constructed to private order specifically for historic road rallying, circuit racing, hillclimbs and sprints. Plans obtained from the USA and provided by historian/author John Blanden formed the basis for the build by engineer Jeff Gransden during the 1970s. The coachwork, a lightweight alloy 2-seat roadster was constructed by Elfin Sports Cars of South Australia and features leather trim and upholstery, large capacity fuel tank, quick detachable mudguards, lights and spare wheel (for competition use) and full split tonneau. The chassis and mechanicals/running gear are pre 1939 Mercury Ford V8. The fully balanced, flowed, ported and polished engine features high compression pistons, crankshaft, Offenhauser heads, twin Stromberg 97 carburettors, Mallory ignition, large capacity radiator, water pumps and much more. A close ratio gearbox with remote change, heavy duty rear end, revised steering ratios make for excellent road holding. Power is in excess of 130bhp, top speed around 180km/h and acceleration is stunning: yet the car is perfectly docile in heavy traffic conditions. Currently campaigned in vintage and historic events, and on club registration. The car is in virtually mint condition, it has a known history since new, having been in storage for over 20 years prior to my purchase in 2003. The total mileage is less than 15,000. I will consider a part trade of a large vintage sports tourer. Price $120,000. More detailed specifications, history and photographs available to serious enquiries. Car in Castlemaine, Victoria.  1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible

I have had this beautiful Corvette for 15 years. I am so busy I no longer have time to enjoy this amazing car. It has the original matching numbers engine but has had the power upgraded to about 450hp. It has won numerous shows worldwide (UK, Japan, etc) and gets attention where ever I drive it. This is the last year for front and rear steel bumpers - the production run of this Corvette was 6500 cars making the 1972 convertible a rare car. It has tilt and telescopic steering wheel, power steering, four wheel disc brakes and braided steel brake lines. The performance of this car is amazing for its year, expect 0-100 km/h to come up in less than 5 seconds with the 400 metre run in about 13 seconds. Top speed is about 250 kmh. Car presently in South Korea. I can assist with shipping arrangements.
Price is $25,000. Contact Mark Davis

 1991 BMW M5 E34 3.6

The World's Best Sedan of the early 90s and still a classic supercar, in immaculate condition. Sad to see my supercar go, hopefully to a good home but M5s aren't meant to go offroad, which is where I'm going. A concours winner here in WA, the car has a full BMW service history since delivered new in 1991. It runs the desirable Stage 2 Throwing Star wheels and has a set of H&R sports springs ready to fit but is otherwise to original specification. The all-black leather interior (grey roof lining and mats) was refurbished 2 years ago and is as-new throughout. The awesome twin cam 24-valve engine still produces the factory-spec power and torque figures (recent dyno tests) and burns no oil between services. The air conditioning system was refurbished last summer (new compressor) and all systems are in perfect working order. The car is a fantastic driving machine, achieving 9km/100l economy figures in country touring mode, while also providing a luxury ride in city traffic. Performance and handling is everything you would expect from the Ultimate Driving Machine. I've owned it for seven years and have loved every minute of it. It is truly a great car. Asking $30,000 or near offer. The car is garaged in South Perth and can be inspected by phoning Bruce on 0428 884 748.

 1995 MG RV8 Roadster

The car is in immaculate condition, it has only travelled 36,000 km and drives like a new car. Having twice the horsepower of a normal MGB it's a very exciting car to drive. It's Woodcote Green with cream leather interior. I have recently had it serviced, reconditioned the clutch master and slave cylinders and replaced the brake pads. It has new tyres, a new tonneau ordered from the UK and the wood interior is in perfect condition. I have ceramic coated the exhaust and extractors to reduce the heat in the cabin. The aircon works well making it a very comfortable drive in summer. It is only being sold because of a lack of use. (Photo not of actual car.). Asking $36,900 ono. Please contact Rami on 0412 081 446

 1950 MG TD Roadster

I acquired the car on the 14/1/2003. The car was manufactured in the UK destined for the American market. It was bought in California by Mr. Jarl Deoer  of 23 Valley Vista Drive, Walnut Creek, CA.  Imported from California this TD was completely rebuilt from the chassis up in 1993 by MG restorer Neville Howell. In 1994 it was bought by a member of the MG Car Club, who then had MG Workshops fit a Bosch distributor, larger radiator and overhaul the brakes. I have maintained the vehicle since the above date. The car is a peach to drive and I was informed by Skewes MG specialist that it is a beautiful car. Fully registered. The price of the car is $28,000. Contact Raymond on 03 9743 3741. Car in West Melton, Victoria.
