All guided, without the worries of bookings, finding suitable places to eat, stay, visit, etc - all with plenty of flexibility.Automotive Events Management has specially developed The Ultimate Grand Prix Experience to give you a unique and ‘fantastique’ time in Northern Italy and the South of France - immerse yourself in some of the most beautiful places on earth.
May is spring time and the most beautiful time of year to be in the Cote d’Azur - “where the sun shines for 320 days a year”.
You’ll see why the French Riviera is a favourite destination - chic shops, dramatic architecture, stylish people, exotic cars, gastronomical delights, amazing history and the height of fashion. And you'll see why for centuries people have said that Northern Italy is among the most spectacular places to visit. Our tour allows plenty of time to take in everything these beautiful regions have to offer.We will have our own luggage vehicle to help carry what you can’t fit in your sports car.
We specially produce a Roadbook for participants in The Ultimate Grand Prix Experience - it’s your bible for the tour. Included is a wealth of practical information to help you along the way. There’s information such as guidance on language, etiquette, food and driving tips for each country we visit. There are details of each destination, how to get to your hotel and where dinners will be. There is information about points of interest en route and features at each destination, with historical and general interest notes. We also provide participants with maps of major centres we will be visiting.
Each of the excellent hotels and restaurants have been carefully selected, are of a high standard and well located.It's not just a tour for rev-heads. We've been complimented by past participants who are not car enthusiasts but have enjoyed the many facets of our tour...

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
The cost of being a part of this unique experience Main Event is just AUD$8600 per person on a twin share or double basis - that's fantastic value! Single cost on request. Single costs may reduce for shared car hire and hotels. For this tour, numbers are strictly limited to just 16 people - on a first come, first served basis. This ensures a friendly sized group. Once all places are taken we will not add any more.There's excellent public access at the Mille Miglia at no cost. What's not included are airfares - as most people will want to travel elsewhere in addition to this event - and people may wish to fly economy, business class, first class or use frequent flyer points. Monaco tickets are not included for similar reasons - people may wish to go one day or two, go into public viewing areas, get different grandstand seats, arrange restaurants with views of the track, etc - so many options. Tickets are available through an excellent system on the club's website. We are happy to advise on any of these., and our recommended travel agent can assist.
YOU’LL BE DRIVING AROUND IN STYLE
For six days you’ll enjoy the pleasure of driving great cars through the wonderful roads of the South of France. Not soft-top economy cars, but you’ll be driving prestigious current model convertible cars like a supercharged Mercedes-Benz SLK., BMW Z4 or if you prefer a bigger convertible, a BMW 3-series convertible or Audi A4 Turbo Cabriolet. If you prefer not to have an open-top car we can arrange a luxury coupe or sedan for you.
Upgrades are available (at extra cost, by pre-booking) and include such exotic sports cars as Aston Martin, Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche and Lamborghini. They're not cheap but offer a wonderful experience...

WHO’S RUNNING THE SHOW?
Automotive Events Management is a West Australian-based operation which has successfully been running motoring events around Australia for 18 years, including motor sport events, exhibitions, auctions, parades, tours and more.
Our tours are led by AEM chief and motoring journalist Paul Blank, who has often visited the region and enjoyed the fabulous Monaco Grand Prix, so he created a unique event to allow people to maximize the experience too, offering unique once-in-a-lifetime experiences. The Ultimate Grand Prix Experience was first run in 2005. 2011 heralds a new, format, taking in northern Italy and the Mille Miglia. Paul has been fortunate in attending the Mille Miglia twice in recent years.
AEM has put together this event designed especially for Australian participants, though others are very welcome.
