Since 2005 AEM has conducted The Ultimate Grand Prix Experience. In 2006 and 2008 the event included the Monaco Historic Grand Prix, which is held every second year prior to the F1 Grand Prix. Some participants visited the prestigious Bonhams and Coys classic car auctions. The Ultimate Grand Prix Experience also coincides with the famous Cannes Film Festival which we visit en route. The guided self-drive route also takes in St Tropez, Grasse, Mougins and St Paul de Vence before returning to Nice. After an informative and entertaining lunch exclusively for our group with the official international F1 Commentator Bob Constanduros, the event finishes with the incredible Monaco F1 Grand Prix. _______________________________________________________________________________Photos copyright AEM

Automotive Events Management has specially developed The Ultimate Grand Prix Experience to give you and your partner a unique and ‘fantastique’ ten days.
May is spring time and the most beautiful time of year to be in the Cote d’Azur - “where the sun shines for 320 days a year”.
You’ll see why the French Riviera is a favourite destination - chic shops, dramatic architecture, stylish people, exotic cars, gastronomical delights, amazing history and the height of fashion. Our tour allows plenty of time to take in everything the region has to offer - plus much more not usually available.
We will have our own luggage vehicle to help carry what you can’t fit in your sports car.
A Roadbook will be supplied to participants with route instructions, a detailed schedule, maps, highlights and details about places we are visiting and passing through, useful tips and lots of valuable information.

YOUR DRIVING DAY AT THE TRACK
This is something very special... your chance to drive a Formula One racing car! We will have the use of a private 2.2km circuit. Tailored to drivers of all levels of experience, one person from each couple on The Ultimate Grand Prix Experience will discover the thrill of what it's like to be behind the wheel of an F1 car - it's the real deal - 650bhp in a 505kg carbon-fibre car...
It’s a full day, starting with a light breakfast. You’ll be kitted-out with race suit, gloves, helmet and boots - in your sizes. After a classroom presentation and F3 briefing, it’s into the bus for a track tour before your Formula 3 drive sessions - with debriefing, systematic corrections, advice and supervision.
Buffet lunch is followed by a tour of the race car factory, then it’s time for the Formula 1 briefing. You will then have the most awe-inspiring drive of your life!
This is one of very few places in the world you can drive a Formula 1 car. Certificates will be given to the drivers at the day’s end.Please note that drives are available for partners at extra cost, or if you wish to delete this component of the event from your own itinerary, a significant discount is available. YOU’LL BE DRIVING AROUND IN STYLE
For six days you’ll enjoy the pleasure of driving great cars through the wonderful roads of the South of France. Not soft-top economy cars, but you’ll be driving prestigious current model convertible cars like a BMW Z4, new 3-series convertible, Audi A4 Turbo Cabriolet or a supercharged Mercedes-Benz SLK.
Upgrades are available (at extra cost, by pre-booking) and include such exotic sports cars as Aston Martin Volante, Ferrari 430 Spider, Maserati Spider, Jaguar XK8 Convertible, Porsche 911 Cabriolet and Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG. There's even McLaren Mercedes SLRs, Lamborghini Gallardo Spiders and Maybachs available!

WHO’S RUNNING THE SHOW?
Automotive Events Management is a West Australian-based operation which has successfully been running motoring events around Australia for 15 years, including motor sport events, exhibitions, auctions, parades and more.
AEM chief Paul Blank has often visited the region and enjoyed the fabulous Monaco Grand Prix, so he created a unique event to allow people to maximize the experience too, offering unique experiences.
Working with knowledgeable European-based consultants, AEM has put together this event designed especially attuned to Australian and New Zealand participants, though others are very welcome. The activities and tour aspects of the Ultimate Grand Prix Experience will be lead by Paul Blank and AEM staff experienced in the region and what it has to offer the visitor.
The cost of being a part of this unique experience is just AUD$16,400 per couple. This is strictly limited to just 10 couples - on a first come, first served basis. A couple can be in twin-share accommodation. Once all places are taken we will not add any more. The F1 drive can be deleted giving a significant saving over the above cost - please enquire.
Convertible car hire, accommodation during the tour, most meals, the race track drive day, museum entry, Lunch with the F1 commentator, town maps, use of luggage vehicle and the comprehensive Roadbook, etc are all included in the package, making it unequalled value. Not included are airfares - as most people will want to travel elsewhere in addition to this event - and people may wish to fly economy, business class, or use frequent flyer points and GP tickets, for similar reasons. While accommodation during the tour component is included, during the Grand Prix participants will need to make their own arrangements, according to their preferences and budget requirements. We will be able to advise several options.
