Porsche & Mercedes-Benz Museums
Home of two of the great German marques, and each has a spectacular new museum showcasing their illustrious histories.

Porsche opened their impressive new €100million facility in January 2009.

Opened two years ago the award-winning Mercedes-Benz museum had over a million visitors in its first year and was acclaimed as among the finest museums of any kind in the world.

Porsche has built up a wonderful collection of cars, road, rally and race to fill their newly opened museum. It’s adjacent to a new car showroom and the factory. The museum has been getting rave reviews since its opening, for the cars, layout, other material, workshop and accessibility of the cars.

The Mercedes-Benz Museum has displays showing vehicles in relation to world events, shops, restaurants, extensive new car showrooms and the very best from their 800 strong vehicle collection. The display relates the vehicles on show to history, with many fascinating asides among the displays.

Just outside the gates of the Unterturkheim factory facility, the award-winning building itself has many impressive features.

We will be staying in central Stuttgart, with time to visit the famous gardens, historic centre and well-known shopping area.
